Essential (Rules of) Oils in the Bath

You’re thinking of a new aroma combo for tonight’s bath. You’ve looked up Pinterest graphics on which oils blend best together. You’re ready to go - just turn on the water and add a few drops. WRONG! I know. It’s never that easy. But the truth is, just adding essential oils directly to the bathwater can be really harmful, and even hurt your body. (Think about it - EVERYTHING is exposed to them.) So what’s a bathing beaut to do? Learn the rules. It’s not difficult and it will save you (and your lady parts) from harm. Hint: You must use a carrier oil along with essential oils, such as coconut, sunflower or jojoba oils to prevent the droplets from just sitting on top of the water and from adhering to your skin. Like anything else in your beauty routine, know the tips, tricks and risks to ensure you do no harm, only good.
